This is a capstone project from the microverse curriculum, meant to demonstrate the mastery of HTML, CSS and Javascript of Web development concepts. And the project idea is based on hospitality. The design interface inspiration is drawn from Cindy Shin on Behance (https://www.behance.net/adagio07) template provided by Microverse.

Luxury_Living Capstone Project

In this Capstone project I built a website for a highend business (Luxury Living) offering luxury accomodation and various other services in Zambia. Luxury Living has been in operation for over ten years and most of its clientele consists of international businesses in the UK and USA.

Learning objectives:

  • Use semantic HTML tags.

  • Apply best practices in HTML code.

  • Use CSS box model.

  • Use CSS selectors correctly.

  • Use Flexbox to place elements in the page.

  • Demonstrate ability to create UIs adaptable to different screen - sizes using media queries.

  • Use GitHub Pages to deploy web pages.

  • Apply JavaScript best practices and language style guides in code.

  • Use JavaScript to manipulate DOM elements.

  • Use JavaScript events.

  • Use objects to store and access data.
