Ulysses App Tools

Ulysses is one of the best text editor on MacOS/iOS system, but it's way of saving files is very obscure and not open.

Backup folder

By default '~/Desktop/Ubackup/'. You can change this location in config.py.

Secure Backup

Get the lastest automatic backup and copy it in the backup folder. This is a Ulysses hierarchy you cam import in Ulysses.

Open Backup

Run backup.py to create a complete Ulysses hierarchy backup in plain markdown, with keywords, notes, images. No more strange dirs and subdirs. The best way to quit Ulysses.

In the MacOS Terminal

open ~/Library/Mobile\ Documents/X5AZV975AG~com~soulmen~ulysses3/Documents

-> open Ulysses folder in the finder
