Welcome to perplexity-model-watcher, a simple browser extension for Brave and Chrome. This extension allows you to quickly view and switch between Perplexity's display model and the user-selected model. Follow these steps to get started.

📥 Download & Install

1. Visit the Releases Page: Go to the Releases Page. You will see a list of available versions.

2. Choose Your Version: Look for the latest version. This ensures you get the most up-to-date features and fixes.

3. Download the Extension:

   • Click on the file labeled for your browser, such as a .zip or .crx file. If you are using Chrome, you will likely download a .crx file. For Brave, it may appear as a .zip file.
   • Your browser will start downloading the file to your computer.

4. Install the Extension:

   • For Chrome:
     • Open Chrome and go to the extensions page by entering chrome://extensions/ in the address bar.
     • Enable "Developer mode" at the top right corner.
     • Click on "Load unpacked" and select the folder where you unzipped the downloaded file.
   • For Brave:
     • Open Brave and go to the extensions page by entering brave://extensions/ in the address bar.
     • Enable "Developer mode."
     • Click "Load unpacked" and select the folder where you unzipped the downloaded file.

5. Activate the Extension:

   • After installation, the extension icon will appear on the toolbar.
   • Click on the icon to begin using it.
