== Description ==

Converts WordPress posts and comments to bbPress topics and replies. Also useful for importing Blogger into bbPress - just import Blogger into WordPress and then use this to convert your posts/comments to bbPress!

Please backup you WordPress database before using this plugin!

== Installation ==

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

1. Upload the posts-to-bbpress folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress
3. Backup you WordPress database!
4. Navigate to Tools -> Posts -> bbPress
5. Select your options (described below) and click Convert!
6. Use the bbPress Repair Forum tool

Conversion Options

Delete Posts After Converting to Topics?

Uncheck this box if you want to leave your original posts intact.

Delete Comments After Converting to Replies?

Uncheck this box if you want to leave your comments intact.

Import to Forum

Choose the forum you want to move your posts into. If you do not have any forums, you will need to create one before using this convertor.

Map Comment Authors to WP-Users

The plugin will attempt to associate WordPress users with comment authors so that all topic replies have a proper author. Match up comment authors (right) with WordPress users (left).
