dotfiles

Before doing anything, make sure you know what are you doing! Settings applied by this repository are very personal, and definitely not suite everyones needs. I suggest to create your own set of dotfiles based on this repo.

Steps

1. Clone repository to hidden .dotfile directory in your home directory

git clone https://github.com/gregwym/dotfiles.git ~/.dotfiles

2. Run setup-macos.sh

source ~/.dotfiles/setup-macos.sh

3. Run setup-brew.sh

source ~/.dotfiles/setup-brew.sh

4. Run setup-shell.sh

source ~/.dotfiles/setup-shell.sh

5. Run setup-symlinks.sh

source ~/.dotfiles/setup-symlinks.sh

Don't forget to

• ssh setup
• install recommended VSCode plugins from this repo
• download Chrome plugins
  • AddGuard AdBlocker
  • Drag and Go
  • JSON Formatter
  • Polar Tab
  • Postman
  • Vimium
