About

The Multiple Disease Prediction Bot is a machine learning model designed to predict diseases based on input symptoms. This application uses a pre-trained model (Multiple_disease_prediction_bot_trained_model.sav) and requires a trained label_encoder.sav to interpret the predictions. It utilizes the symptoms present as columns in the Training.csv file to process user input.

Files

1. Multiple_disease_prediction_bot_trained_model.sav: The serialized (saved) trained machine learning model.
2. README.md: This file, providing information about the project.
3. Training.csv: The dataset used for training the machine learning model (used to identify available symptoms).
4. label_encoder.sav: The serialized (saved) LabelEncoder object, used to transform disease names from numerical predictions.
5. app.py: The Streamlit application code for the disease prediction bot.

Note: Files like Jupyter Notebooks and other Python scripts might be part of the project's development history but are not directly used by the current Streamlit application.

Usage

To use the Multiple Disease Prediction Bot, follow these steps:

1. Ensure you have the following files in the same directory as app.py:
   • Multiple_disease_prediction_bot_trained_model.sav
   • label_encoder.sav
   • Training.csv
2. Make sure you have the necessary Python libraries installed:

   pip install streamlit joblib pandas numpy scikit-learn

3. Run the Streamlit application from your terminal:

   python -m streamlit run "Streamlit app/app.py"

4. Once the application opens in your web browser, enter the symptoms you are experiencing in the text area, separated by commas (e.g., Fever,Cough,Fatigue). The input is case-insensitive, and spaces in symptom names will be handled.
5. Click the "Predict Disease" button to get the model's prediction.

Format for Input Parameters

When providing input parameters for disease prediction, use the following format: "Parameter1,Parameter2,Parameter3.
"for ex= "Fungal infection: Itching, Skin Rash, Nodal Skin Eruptions"
