Tor IP Changer for Burp Suite

A Burp Suite extension that integrates with Tor to check your current IP and request new identities via the Tor control port.

Description

This extension helps security researchers route traffic through Tor and easily change their exit IP without leaving Burp Suite. It works with custom Tor SOCKS and Control ports (default set to 9152 and 9153).

Installation

1. Download the Python script
2. Open Burp Suite → Extensions → Add
3. Select Python as the extension type
4. Load the script file
5. Access it via the "Tor IP Changer" tab

Usage

1. Start Tor with configured ports (SOCKS 9152, Control 9153)
2. In Burp, open the Tor IP Changer tab
3. Click Check Tor Status to verify connectivity
4. Use Check Current IP to view your Tor exit IP
5. Click Change IP to request a new Tor identity

Requirements

• Burp Suite (Professional or Community)
• Jython standalone JAR configured in Burp Suite
• Running Tor service with open SOCKS and Control ports
